Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Lennox made it through on an allowance for students working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance as compared to the performance of the other students. She started to think about different options. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a member of the group called Dragons Playground. The group did not get to compete in the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British pop group. She met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut record Diva. It came out in 1993. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You Go... It is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and singer-songwriter. After a brief successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 1980s. Lennox launched her solo career with her first album Diva in the year 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was released in 1995, has the versions of a few of her best-loved songs, including No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale).
