Her early successes in the performing arts, that we now know to be Maureen O'Hara, would certainly be a qualifier to being in the "child prodigy" category. Marguerita Lu. FitzSimons had a successful contralto. Charles FitzSimons managed a Dublin-based business and owned a share of "The Shamrock Rovers" a renowned Irish soccer squad. Maureen FitzSimons is the 2nd child of Charles FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons, Florrie Fitzsimons Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons rounded out the wonderful family. Maureen was an athlete at heart and was a fan of tough sports. The combination of this natural interest and her talent for performing was remarkable. When she was fourteen, she was admitted to the Abbey Theater, where her dream was to pursue operatic singing and classical theater.
