Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26, 1984, is a comedian and actor known for her deadpan sense of humor. She is the character April Ludgate on "Parks and Recreation." After performing an improv comedy and sketch comedy show in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Plaza began her web-based show debut on "The Jeannie Tate Show." Later, she would appear in Judd Apatow's "Funny People" as well as "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" later in her professional career. Make her day special! Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of lawyer Bernadette Plaza as well as the financial expert David Plaza. Her mother and father are both Irish and are English-speaking. Plaza got her education from an all girls Catholic school in 2002 and then the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University in 2006. The president was of her high school's student government as well as a participant in Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior years.
